This website has been a work in progress for over 40 years. The majority of the information on the following pages are from members of our family and friends and numerous libraries and websites. The one person that I remember starting this research project was my uncle Alfred (Duane) Smith. The project was later turned over to my father Larry Eugene Smith in which, after many long exhausting years of research and pain. It was then turned over to (Myself) Dr. Larry Eugene Smith Junior D.D. It then became my job to attempt to complete the research of OUR Family's History. 

In which my family and I have later since found out that a families history is never truly completely researched. Simply, because in every family member's history there is always going to be a step toward the future. Whether or not their future was ended early in life or not. In which we will see first hand that many lives ended early for some and later for others.

In May of 2015, just before a family reunion Dr. Smith created a DVD of family photos for The Martin/Clapp/Smith family to view. Then the following month during the reunion Dr. Smith and his family including Larry Sr. were shocked to see the turn out when the video was being portrait in public for the very first time. In June of 2017 Dr. Smith had agreed to create a new movie for the families photo's.

I have to admit I am very proud of this huge group of people, I call MY FAMILY!!!
